Yoga for You

This series is perfect for those who are brand-new to yoga, or anyone interesteed in taking a deeper dive into the foundations.

In this pre-recorded series, your teacher Julie will break down foundational yoga postures and explore ways to tailor these postures to support your body’s needs.

The first five sessions will have discussion and physical practice with week six being a 45 minute vinyasa style yoga practice.

No yoga experience required.

All you need is you, your mat and a desire to start a yoga practice!

Meet Your Teacher:

Julie Eagan

After earning my undergraduate degree in Sociology with the intention of working with survivors in some capacity, I started volunteering as a crisis advocate on a hotline for survivors of sexual and domestic violence. During this time I noticed the large overlap between skills and practices that were supportive to crisis callers and skills I had learned in my personal yoga practice, which has long been a healing outlet for me.

I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training through Yoga Buzz in St. Louis with the intention of creating accessible yoga classes for survivors. I have since completed Yoga As Healing training with Zabie Yamasaki, founder of Transcending Sexual Trauma Through Yoga as well as 20 hours of training with the Center for Trauma and Embodiment at JRI.
